Making the system work for you

All drug charges hang on two different factors. First, how much of the drug did the authorities find? Having a couple of joints in your pocket will not fetch the same penalty as having a couple of metric tons hidden under the floorboards. The second factor is the search. All drug cases begin with a search of the person, car, or home of the accused. If the search is illegal, all evidence obtained on that search is tainted and cannot be used.
