Have you been a victim of bad faith insurance practices?
Homeowners, Auto, Uninsured Motorist, Health
We pay insurance premiums, we expect those companies to be there for us when we need them. If you make a claim in good faith, then that is how the insurer should pay.
Unfortunately some insurers do not behave in good faith. They will find any reason to deny your claim. Even if they do not deny it outright, slow payment, underpayment, and other unfair delaying tactics can cause an insured to abandon any hope of seeking the benefits they need.
I believe that people who act in good faith deserve to be treated fairly. I also believe that people should get what they pay for.
I have seen many types of unfair dealings on the part of insurance companies. Auto insurance insurers sometimes replace brand new parts with used parts, or refuse to pay for repairs unless the auto was taken to specific shop. I have also seen auto and health insurers refuse to pay claims for spurious reasons.
Insurance companies are in the business of saving money, sometimes they may wrongful deny a homeowner’s claim or injury claim leaving you on your own to face the consequences.
